Ellie was one of 72,000 applicants who made the cut for 2011 BBC 1 series of “The Apprentice”. After establishing her own construction recruitment business in 2004, a subcontract cleaning business in 2008, running a training centre for redundant professionals 2009, and carrying out tasks for Lord Sugar in 2011, she has now decided to put her skills to good use by setting up a recruit-to-recruit business. She knows what makes a good candidate, what factors make a good match between candidate and client and most importantly she listens well to both her client's and candidate's needs and acts upon them. Her USP is that it is her name on the line so the service to both clients and candidates can be nothing short of the best!
At Ellie Reed Consultancy Ltd we will always endeavour to provide both candidates and clients with peace of mind that their needs and objectives are being both listened to and acted upon in a qualitative rather than quantitative manner.
Our ethos is to only send candidate's CVs to our clients if we feel confident that there is a good fit between the client's job specification and the candidate's long term career goals. We know our clients and candidates prefer this method to that of banding out endless CVs and keeping our fingers crossed!
We place candidates from graduate/trainee level up to Director level across all sectors by using various search and selection techniques as well as referrals.
Once we take a candidate on, Ellie will meet that candidate and listen to what they are looking for, and determine what they can give to a prospective employer. We are aware that many factors contribute to a company and the role being the right fit for our candidates. The size and company structure of a client’s business can often be deemed more important than the field of work or salary offered. Equally, the personality of the candidate and their fit into a team may be deemed more important to the client than the years of experience on their CV.
